MCM London Comic Con

So, something extremely exciting happened last weekend...I ticked something off my 15 Before 30 List! I have always wanted to attend Comic Con, so when tickets finally went on sale I snapped up two for me and my boyfriend for the Saturday. If you've read my list, you'll know that my dream cosplay was to be Elizabeth from the video game Bioshock Infinite, and I chose her first outfit (anyone who plays the game knows how many evolutions of this character there are) as it's always been my favourite. I have to send out a massive thank you to my mama for sewing all the add ons onto the skirt and shirt.

Future Husband Wishlist

All images sourced from Pinterest.

All you need to know about why I wrote this post is because I was feeling particularly silly one day. I also came to the realisation that all of these men look very similar to one another...which probably says a lot about my taste in men. I'm going to call it 'classically handsome'. Obviously, I do have a boyfriend, which means I'm sorry handsome men on this wishlist, you'll just have to wait! You know, because I'm very likely to meet them.

Seaside Stripes

I don't want to alarm anyone, but I have a sneaky suspicion that Michelle Keegan (or the people at Lipsy) can read my mind, because I want everything from her clothing line. Seriously, it's like somebody attached me to a thought extracting device, searched for 'dream wardrobe' and the viola! The Michelle Keegan Collection was created (but secretly it should be called the Jordan Collection, am I right?!).

So, yeah, this dress is no exception. It also happens to be pretty damn near perfect for the seaside, which means only one thing; spontaneous trip to Brighton beach!

Lucid Love

One thing I've always been serious about is my skincare. As somebody who personally wears very little makeup I have to make sure my skin is in top-notch condition so I can avoid caking on the concealer when breakouts occur. I have a pretty simple skincare routine, so I was intrigued when Magnitone took part in the Bloggers Love Hub Twitter Party. They were giving away the coveted Magnitone Lucid* to a few select bloggers who applied, and having seen a similar one by Clinique (which was way out of my price range) I jumped at the chance to try it out.

Doe Eyed

If there's one thing in this world I love more than bows, it's probably Disney themed tights. Which is lucky for me because Primark are the goldmine of Disney related fashion tights. On this particular occasion, they also happened to the goldmine of giant bow belts. In the word of Hannah Montana "You get the beeeeest of both worlds!"

Date Night at GBK

I'm not going to lie, I visited Gourmet Burger Kitchen primarily for the fries. After spotting them on many a blog I decided to pay a visit, after being recommended by about a dozen people on twitter.

Borough Market

Borough Market is 100% one of my top must-visit destinations in London. If you're as big a foodie as me then it really is something special.

Sat inside a Charles Dickens-esque brick building with the rumbling train tracks above, it really is a show ground for the culinary world.

So if you fancy a burger, noodles, curry, seafood or basically anything your mind can dream up, you can find it here. It's like a lunchtime paradise!

A Change of Name

I'm very excited to announce that I finally plucked up the courage to buy my own domain name! So I am now from this day forward hellomissjordan.com! I feel like my blog has really been expanding lately and because of this I thought it was only right to take the next step. Thank you so much to all you lovely readers who keep reading. You all make me feel like I'm actually doing something worthwhile and because of that I am eternally grateful.

I also want to send out a massive thank you to Pipdig for installing my new domain for me. As someone who is completely useless with technology this was such a massive weight off my mind and I would definitely recommend checking them out for their stunning blog designs as well!

Don't forget to vote for me in Boohoo's 'Famous Last Words' T-shirt design contest HERE!

Flower Fairy + GIVEAWAY

My name is Jordan and I have a guilty pleasure...flower crowns. *Deep breath* I know, it's pretty insane.

I've often been put off buying a flower crown of my own due to their tendency to be stereotyped into the 'festival-goer' or 'bridesmaid' categories of headwear, of which I am neither. Luckily, after winning Prairie Charms' giveaway on twitter I was sent a beautiful dream come true of a flower crown, which pretty much made me feel like a fairy princess when I put it on. All I can say is I'm never going back.

Cafe Coho, Brighton

You know those blogger cliches? Like macarons, washi tape, rose gold, etc etc...well, I found the Brighton cafe equivalent of a blogger cliche. I say 'found', but really it's the one cafe I see come up time and time again on different bloggers/vloggers' channels; Cafe Coho. And, never one to miss out on the hype, I decided to take a trip there with my mama for some lunch.

Go Live Your Dream - Style for Stroke with Boohoo

I am so excited to write this post, as it basically showcases one of the most creative things I think I've ever done. As somebody with the artistic skills of a rabbit, the prospect of designing a t-shirt for Boohoo & the Style for Stroke campaign was completely daunting. But thanks to a little help from my friend, fellow blogger and experienced fabric pen wielder Allie (Living Life in Docs), I'm really proud of what I've created.

My Hair Growth Secret

If you've ever wanted to grow your hair long, then you probably feel my pain when I speak of the dreaded moment when it just...stops. It gets to a certain length (usually one which is not quite short enough but not quite long enough) and then it freezes, cursing you to an existence of hair dissatisfaction. This was me last year...and the year before, and the year before that.

Black & Blossom

As someone of a rather modest height of 5'4", I've sort of been put off wearing jumpsuits in the past. They're on of those things which I imagine will make me look like a tree stump, no matter how pretty or summery they may appear to be. However, when George at ASDA contacted me to ask if I'd like to try a few pieces from their Summer collection, I decided to bite the bullet and give the jumpsuit thing a go, especially when I saw this beautiful one on their website.
