Butterfly Biscuits

If there's anything I love more than regular looking food, it's beautiful food, and the one company I can always rely on to produce food that is quite literally art is Biscuiteers. I've been stalking them on social media for quite a while now and I was absolutely over the moon when they offered to send me one of their Mother's Day gifts to review! After having a browse of their website I absolutely fell in love with their Butterfly Biscuit tin* containing nine, beautifully iced biscuits.

Hello, Sailor!

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

Guess who's back...back again...tulle is back...tell a friend.

Okay, enough songs. Not sure what happened there. But yes, tulle is back, and yes, I shot this by the beautiful briny sea OH MY GOSH SOMEBODY STOP ME.

Blooms for Mother's Day

The only person who loves flowers more than me is my mama. Mum cliche, maybe? Of course, flowers are always the go-to option for Mother's Day and having previously worked with Appleyard London before I was absolutely thrilled when they offered to send me one of their gorgeous bouquets to review!

Creme De La Creme Egg

As I mentioned in my last post, a couple of weeks ago I took a trip to London to see the lovely April. We did a bit of shopping, took a couple of photos, but the real reason we were there was because of a very cheeky pop-up cafe that's up in Soho. That's right. It's a cafe dedicated entirely to Cadbury's Creme Eggs. Praise be to the chocolate gods.

Pastels on Charlotte Street

Last weekend I had the pleasure of heading up to London to spend the day with the wonderful and gorgeous April! The main reason we were there was really to visit a very special, chocoholic cafe...but more on that later.

Before heading off to Soho, we took a stroll over to the Charlotte Street Hotel (aka, that hotel that every fashion blogger seems to take their pictures in front of). You know I can't deny a cliche, especially if it's a pretty cliche.

Lovely Lace

Photography by Lauren Shipley

Yep, we're back with another lingerie post! As you know I'm pretty much obsessed with lovely underwear; a matching set never fails to make me feel more confident and more beautiful! Now, I hope you're not thinking 'Oh no, Jordan's taking her clothes off again!' and you're more distracted by the gorgeous FigLeaves set with all the heart emoji eyes.

Red Carpet Ready

Photography by Lauren Shipley

As much as it would be a dream come true to one day attend a real awards ceremony, sometimes you've just gotta settle for your garden, am I right?

When Boohoo got in contact and asked if I'd like to be part of their Boohoo's Best Dressed campaign, inspired by up and coming awards ceremonies, I jumped at the chance to dress up! I had a browse of the website and let's just say I chose something a little bit more villainous than my normal princess get up!

Cat Ears with Gemporia

Forever being the magpie, jewellery has always been my soft spot, especially things that are a little quirky and different. So when Gemporia got in touch and offered to send me one of their necklaces, I had a browse of the website and found the perfect one.

Press For Champagne

One place that's always been on my foodie bucket list is Bob Bob Ricard. You may have spotted the restaurant and it's famous button on a few other foodie blogs, well renowned for it's luxury English and Russian cuisine and the extensive menu of champagne options. Because of the latter, I decided it was the one and only place to take my mama aka the finest connoisseur of champagne in the world (I think so, anyway!).

10 Ways to be an Everyday Princess

Photography by Lauren Shipley

If you've followed me long enough, you'll know I have a teensy obsession with being a princess. Now, as lovely as being a real Disney Princess would be (I'm still waiting for my animated feature film, Disney!), I've realised that I may just have to settle for being an everyday princess.

And before you run away because you hate Disney, hear me out! Being a princess isn't all about tiaras and tulle, you know! I'm often inspired by the quote from A Little Princess (aka, the most heartbreaking movie of all time), where Sara confronts that witch of a teacher and says;

"I am a princess...all girls are! Even if they live in tiny old attics, even if they dress in rags, even if they aren't pretty, or smart, or young, they're still princesses."

No matter who you are, you can always be an everyday princess, even if you loathe dresses and the colour pink. So, here are my top 10 ways to channel the spirit of the everyday princess.

Sweater Styling

Photography by Lauren Shipley

Something I've been after for what feels like forever is what I would call a 'stylish sweater', which pretty much sounds like an oxymoron in itself, but hear me out. I've seen a great trend in bloggers rocking slogan sweatshirts, but still managing to make them look cool and trendy. So basically, comfort, but still looking like a suave fashionista who knows her stuff.
