15 Before 30 - Travel Edition

So it's 'Summer' 2016 and we've had about four days of sunshine and the rest has been rain. Come on, England, get it together! Usually at this time of year I'm happy to be here, spending most of my time outdoors and making the most of the British summertime, but we literally haven't had one! So, of course my mind has been drifting to holiday thoughts and the places where I would love to be able to travel too one day.

Throughout my life I have been extremely lucky in being able to travel to over 50 different countries around the world, as well as going on over 300 flights (which still scare me, for some reason), but a lot of these places were when I was very young and/or hated food at the time, so I didn't always get to fully immerse myself in the country. Now that I'm older, there are definitely a few places I'd like to go back to, as well as some that I've never even stepped foot on before.

So when the lovely people at Clickstay got in contact and asked if I'd like to share my 15 Before 30 (Travel Edition) I absolutely jumped at the chance. I've used Clickstay before & absolutely love their website for finding a villa alternative to a hotel <3

So, let's begin!

The Glam Squad

Photography by April Todd

Not going to lie, I've been pretty obsessed with all things pink and nude lately. I don't know what it is, but I'm just so drawn to the dreamy pastels. It's definitely part of the princess job, I think!

So, Boohoo are doing a very exciting little campaign at the moment called 'Style Squads', which not only allows me to showcase some of their gorgeous Summer range, but also gives you the chance to find out your own Style Squad too! I took up the challenge and my result came up as the Glam Squad, which I was super excited to embrace.

Country Kitten

I have to say, as much as I like these pictures for their dreamy, country aesthetic, I did get bitten during this shoot and now my leg has swollen up. The things I do for blogging!

Aaaanyway, I am extremely excited for this post mainly because of two reasons; a) I'm working with a brand that I absolutely adore and b) I'm wearing cat ears. It's just a giant win situation really.

The Dream Kitchen - A Tour

After receiving some amazing feedback on my dream bedroom post, I thought I'd expand the horizons a bit and show you my kitchen too! This was some thing that I was so excited to design and sometimes I can hardly believe that it's my kitchen, to be honest!

Going Pink in Whitstable

Now that I live back in Kent, I get to appreciate some of the nearby places that I didn't get to visit as much over the last four years when I was in Brighton. One of those places is Whitstable; a little seaside town about a half an hour drive away.

One of my favourite things about Whitstable, apart from the sea, has to be the little shops you don't find anywhere else in the world, the smell of salt in the air and the feeling of being in a completely separate world for a few hours.

The House of Minalima

You probably know that my love for all things magical knows no bounds, and in no way is this any different when it comes to Harry Potter. My favourite all time book series, has always had a special place in my heart and when it came to seeing them on the big screen I was overwhelmed.

You probably all know about the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, but what you may not know about is the House of Minalima; a new, pop up attraction in Greek Street, Soho that contains all the work of Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima (who's names sound like they may well be from the wizarding community themselves!) who were responsible for a lot of the incredible design work you spotted when you watch the Harry Potter films.

Alyn Williams at the Westbury

It's a food post! *praise hands emoji*

I feel like I haven't done a proper food post in so long, so I'm super excited to be back at it. Since moving away from Brighton, this sadly means that my Brighton based food posts will most likely be few and far between, but it does open up a whole new world of London restaurants!

The other week I took a day trip to London with my parents for lunch after my mum snagged a good deal on Bookatable. If you don't know, they have some amazing set lunch deals in London that are often fantastic prices (not sponsored, just think they're fab!).

The Misunderstood Curse of Shyness

From a very young age I've been shy. Up until I was about 18 I was absolutely petrified to ask for anything, to talk on the phone or to even speak to strangers if they addressed me. There were times, and still are times when acute shyness affects my life. Since going to university and moving out of my parents' house my shyness has lessened, but there is one negative effect that constantly haunts me, even to this day.
