Hola, Benidorm!

If you've ever heard of Benidorm (and you're British) the first thing that's probably jumped into your head is the classic TV show that airs on ITV, and, if we're being honest, doesn't give the best impression of the city. This is so true that Benidorm has never even crossed my mind as a place I'd like to visit. Rather, it's definitely somewhere I've considered avoiding due to its bad reputation.

So, when Ice Lolly got in contact and said they were on the hunt for some bloggers to showcase the 'alternative side of Benidorm' in collaboration with Visit Benidorm I was definitely intrigued. "What alternative side?" I thought. A quick glance at the itinerary and I knew we definitely weren't going to be doing Benidorm the traditional way.

6 Shows on Netflix I've Been Loving

Despite having always been a keen movie buff, I've recently discovered a new found love for TV shows. I often find it hard to get into a show enough to watch it all the way through, but when I do get hooked, boy do I get hooked.

The Twilight Garden

Top - Coast, C/O John Lewis | Skirt - Coast, C/O John Lewis | Shoes - Dune, C/O John Lewis

A couple of weeks ago I found myself surrounded by flowers in one of the most gorgeous settings I've ever seen, wearing a beautiful outfit and being photographed by Alex Cameron. Sounds like a dream, right!?

Am I Too Nice?

This feels like a question I have asked myself on an almost daily basis for my entire life. Is it possible to be just too nice

For years I've always been the bigger person. I like to take it upon myself to rise above a situation, to hardly ever get angry, to tolerate when people are a dick to me. I've always compared my mood in these situations to a volcano. It lays dormant for a long time but it only takes one moment for it to explode.

Wisteria & Bows

Beret - C/O Beau XOXO | Jumper - Similar here | Skirt - C/O New Look (Similar here) | Necklace - Tiffany & Co.

Wisteria Histeria is rife right now within the blogging community, so you're probably all sick to death of seeing the purple blooming plants covering pretty houses by now. But, alas, as a total basic blogger I couldn't resist snapping some pictures in front of this beautiful house that I spotted while driving one day. Jumping right on board the hype train!

Practically Pink

Top - C/O Missy Empire | Jeans - C/O New Look | Bag - Aldo | Shoes - Dune | Watch - C/O Ice Watch

Bank holiday Monday just gone, a couple of blogger babes (Fifi and Immy) and I decided to take an impromptu trip down to one of my favourite seaside towns, Whitstable for the day. We didn't have much of a plan, but I knew one thing; I wanted to find as much pink as possible. I think I might have been just a little bit successful!

Chalet Girl

I have to say, my favourite part of a skiing holiday isn't actually the skiing part. It's the bit where you come back to a warm chalet after a long day on the slopes, whack off those ski boots and retire into some cosy pyjamas while eating cake. I mean, that's pretty much how I'd like to live every day of my life!

Mountain Sound

Ski Jacket - Topshop | Ski Pants - Decathlon | Jumper - Similar here

As much as I am a sun baby, there's something truly peaceful about escaping to the mountains. At the start of March I had been going through a pretty tough time mentally, and it felt like my trip had come just in time. It had been over ten years since my last visit to the slopes and I have to say, I was pretty nervous about getting back on my skis. But, after a little bit of practise, it was like I had never left.
