Naughty & NICE

Do you ever feel like you have two, totally different sides to your style? This is something I've definitely struggled with, especially when it comes to my blog life. I mean, think of the theme, Jordan!

Why It's OK To Be A Little Selfish Sometimes

Coat - C/O Chi Chi London | Jeans - Jack Wills | Jumper - Oasis | Shoes - Dune (C/O John Lewis) | Bag - C/O Satchels

On the surface, selflessness seems to be one of the best of traits. Being kind and considerate of others and their feelings is something I've tried to embrace my entire life. It's challenging, but I'd say the majority of the time I think about others, how they're feeling and what would be the best course of action to make sure that they are happy.

Enhancing My Everyday Routine

Can we talk about how in awe me and Immy look in that first photo? XD

A couple of weeks ago I was invited out to London for what I can only describe as a very relaxing evening with Mira Showers, who were there to show us some simple ways to enhance our everyday routines.

As someone who is pretty much obsessed with treating myself to a pamper evening, this event was right up my street and I was very excited to see what they had in store.

The night was filled with massages, making our own organic body products and flouncing around in fluffy dressing gowns (my only regret is that I wasn't wearing pyjamas underneath), as well as sipping on the best Pina Colada I've ever tasted - I found out the secret is adding a bit of banana to the mix!

Here are some ways that I've enhanced my everyday routine, by adding a little bit of luxury everyday.

1. Massage

I've always been a huge lover of massages, so it was no surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed receiving a back massage at the event! However, I think having a massage at home is seriously underrate and is definitely something more people should invest in doing! My favourite treat is getting my boyfriend to use a Lush Massage Bar on me - if you haven't tried one then you are missing out! My favourite is Soft Couer.

2. All the PJs

There really is nothing more therapeutic than indulging in a set of super fluffy pyjamas, or a gorgeously warm dressing gown. Treating myself to some new ones definitely feels like a treat now and then.

3. Smell

Trying out new products is basically what I do for a living, and I'm even more excited when they're bath and shower related. There's nothing better than smothering yourself in body lotion after a shower and giving yourself a spritz of your favourite body mist. My current fave is Bath and Body Works Spiced Cinnamon Pumpkin, which both smells amazing and gets me into the Autumn spirit.

4. Food

As well as those fabulous cocktails, I'm definitely an advocate for incorporating some lush food into my life. I am a huge foodie and I find that my mood is so dependent on my diet.

The event was honestly so much fun and I'd like to say a big thank you to Mira Showers for inviting me down for the evening! I felt well and truly spoilt afterwards!

Let me know in the comments what you do to enhance your everyday routine, or if you're planning on adding a bit of pampering in the future! x

A Few Thoughts On Bullying

I'm sad to say that I'm no stranger to bullying. I was picked on in primary school and bullied throughout the entirety of secondary school. As you can imagine, because of this I absolutely loathed school. Every Sunday evening I would lie awake in bed, absolutely dreading heading off on Monday morning. I couldn't wait for the day that I could leave school and the bullying would end once and for all.

A Break in the Rain

Jumper - C/O Jack Wills | Jeans - C/O Jack Wills | Backpack - C/O Radley | Shoes - Dune London

Last weekend my boyfriend and I took a little road trip up to Leeds for the 2017 Bloggers Blog Awards. If you didn't know already (because to be honest, I nattered on about it enough), I was shortlisted for Best Instagrammer, which was so exciting as I've been working super hard on my Instagram for the past two years.
