My boyfriend and I have always been avid fans of good Thai food but since moving to Brighton we had only really ever been disappointed by the restaurants that we had visited. So, when the owner of Cafe Chilli in Hove, Sebastian, asked if I'd like to come down to review their restaurant I jumped at the chance. As you know, I'm a huge foodie and my boyfriend is a chef, so we're pretty fussy eaters, but I was so excited to try out somewhere totally new.

Winter Warmers
Now, I don't want to be one of those people who moans about the weather, but my gosh have you felt how cold it's gotten!? Well, if you're in some lovely hot country, probably not, but over in the UK it's decided to drop like anything after spoiling us to a humid Christmas. So, I've decided to combat it by breaking out what could probably be classed as a Christmas jumper, but I'm going to wear it anyway.

Birthday Brunch
I thought long and hard about finding a birthday venue that was both bloggable and delicious. But really, there was only one place for me; The Breakfast Club. I've reviewed this wonderful cafe in Brighton before but it was only right that I give it a second mention because it was my birthday!
After shooting all those gorgeous photos in my last post, me and Lauren hunted down all the other lovelies who so wonderfully joined me and we all headed in the direction of food. We were soon seated in our own booth surrounded by pineapple lamps and flamingos on the wall.

The Unicorn Blouse
Photography by Lauren Shipley
Because I never shut up about it really, you probably know that last week was my birthday! For the big day, all I really wanted was to spend it with some friends and I was lucky enough to have six lovely ladies join me in Brighton for the day; five incredible bloggers Lauren, Kris, Becky, Olivia, Jaye and my friend from university Ellie. We spent the day chatting and munching on some delicious food at The Breakfast Club (post coming soon!) and they were absolutely the babest of the babes.

Dinner at The Salt Room
If you've been reading for a while, you may remember my first ever trip to The Salt Room in Brighton, which was for lunch and to this day is one of the best places I've ever eaten. Well, for my birthday Ollie very kindly treated me to dinner the night before (as we were going to be scoffing our faces on the actual day!). I mostly wanted to return for a very special dessert...but more on that later.

The Impossible Girl
Short hair, don't care am I right?
Just kidding! You didn't think I'd go short without consulting you all first, did you? I'm not that mean! As it turns out, I managed to discover a new hairstyle that actually does a pretty good job of creating a short-hair look...and I actually quite like it! Short hair without the sacrifice. In fact, this post has become a Clara Oswald inspired kind of look, hence the title!

I'm Feeling 22
Well, how did we get here then? The last time I could relate age-wise to a Taylor Swift song was at fifteen...seven years ago?! Shock of my age aside, today is my birthday (if you hadn't guessed from my incessant nagging and use of GIFs on social media)!
Because of the ridiculous weather we've been experiencing in Brighton at the moment, the chances of me getting some special birthday shots were slim, so I thought I'd throw up an oldie but a goodie taken by my pal Martin. It pretty much highlights my excitement to be experiencing Jordan Day <3
But today, I am very excited to be hanging out with some wonderful bloggers, eating some scrummy food and taking some outfit photos (again, weather permitting), so hopefully there will be a couple more birthday posts on their way shortly! I was going to do one of those 22 things I've learnt in 22 years things, but I'm sure you've heard it all before! So instead, here are some of my favourite quotes. I often find them a lot more inspiring <3
"Adventure is out there!" - Up
"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." - Oscar Wilde
"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." - Walt Disney
"How strange and how lovely it is to be anything at all." - John Green
"Just do it. Don't let your dreams be dreams." - Shia LaBeouf
"In the end, what we regret most are the chances we never took." - Fraiser
"The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again." - Charles Dickens
I hope you all have very Merry Unbirthdays, or Birthdays, wherever you are!

The Staples
Firstly, I should apologise for the lateness of this post. After two 3000 word essays both due on the same day I hope you understand that my brain resembles something like the grey stuff from Beauty and the Beast. But, I'm back and here with a brand new outfit post!
Unfortunately I didn't really get the chance to do a what I got for Christmas post this year. I kind of brought everything home and put it all away and then frankly, could not be bothered to get it all out again. But there were two gifts I knew I had to show you.

Goodbye, 2015!
Well, 2016...here we are!
I can hardly believe it's been an entire year since I wrote a post like this and nearly two years since I started Hello Miss Jordan! 2015 really has been quite the year for me and after having a read of Emma and Olivia's amazing posts about their 'Anti-Bucket Lists', I was inspired to blow my own trumpet a little bit. After all, what's the point in having achievements if you don't ever get to talk about them a teeny bit.

Blushing Pink
Prepare yourself for the longest overdue post of all time! You may remember back in October I won a cheeky award in the Bloggers Blog Awards. My prize was a £150 voucher for the lingerie website Bluebella, which I was absolutely overwhelmed with as I honestly believe there's nothing more pampering than a beautiful set of underwear.
Then there was the matter of doing a shoot. Was I prepared to go down to underwear on my blog? Well, you know the answer. I did it. I've worn bikinis on the blog before and I honestly think there's hardly any difference! Same amount of skin, right?
I was even more thrilled when Martin said he would shoot the pics. He's never let me down yet with presenting some of the best photographs and these were no exception.
