Goodbye, 2015!

Well, 2016...here we are!

I can hardly believe it's been an entire year since I wrote a post like this and nearly two years since I started Hello Miss Jordan! 2015 really has been quite the year for me and after having a read of Emma and Olivia's amazing posts about their 'Anti-Bucket Lists', I was inspired to blow my own trumpet a little bit. After all, what's the point in having achievements if you don't ever get to talk about them a teeny bit.

For me, 2015 really was the year my blog felt like it's started going somewhere. Looking back, 2014 was like paddling in deep water, but now I feel like I have a place to stand. I'm not going to lie and say that it's all been smooth sailing (there's a lot of water puns in here!), but 2015 has reaffirmed my love of blogging. I may not be all the way at the top yet, or even a little bit close, but it's give me hope that with a bit of hard work I will be able to do something I love in the future.

So here's a cheeky list of some of my biggest achievements in 2015 *Doo doo doo doooo!* < that was a trumpet noise, if you didn't realise.

  • Not only was I shortlisted for 'Best Up & Coming Fashion Blog' in the Bloggers Blog Awards, but I only went and WON IT
  • I hit 1000 Bloglovin followers!
  • I performed as Johanna in Sweeney Todd and it was one of the best things I've ever done.
  • I worked with a brand for the first time ever and have since worked with so many incredible companies!
  • I finally attended some blogger events and met up with fellow bloggers who have become some of my best friends.
  • Little Oscar was introduced into my life. It's been hard work having a little pup around but it's worth it to have a furry friend to hang with.
  • Visited Mexico and swam with sea turtles.
  • I finished second year of university with a 2:1; just 12 weeks to go!
  • I finally plucked up the courage to leave my old job and found a new job in retail which I absolutely love.
  • Took part in a lingerie photoshoot, something that gave me a huge confidence boost.

And, for the future, here's a couple of dreams and goals for the year ahead! Last year I'm proud to say that I completed 8/9 of the ones on my list (which you can read here), and I hope I do just as well this year!
