Muriel's Kitchen

After our wonderful photoshoot out and about in London, Saida and I strolled over to Soho to meet Lauren for a bit of lunch. I recommend Muriel's Kitchen, which, if you've been reading my blog for long enough, you will know I've reviewed before for breakfast. I've never had the chance to go for dinner before though so I was very excited!

When You Wishlist #4 - Beauty

It's not often that I treat myself to beauty products, but when I do I love for it to be a real treat! So around Christmas time when all the gorgeous gift sets and special products are released it feels even more special. It's like getting a present! Except the present is from yourself...this is either very sad or very cute. I'll let you decide.

Top Row

L'Occitane Gift Sets - L'Occitane has always been one of my favourite beauty brands as well as my mama's. Their scents are absolutely unreal and so gorgeous so their gift sets had to make their way onto this wishlist. I chose my two favourites, the Cherry Blossom gift set and the Shea Butter gift set that both come in beautifully packaged boxes ready for giving! Or giving...to yourself...They've just started their #TheGiftIWantToKeep campaign and I kid you not I relate personally to this

Jo Malone Christmas Cracker - The first of two Jo Malone products to pop up in this wishlist, but this one's cheating a bit because you actually get four products! They're all jam packed inside possibly the best Christmas cracker I've ever seen in my entire life. A candle, cologne, hand wash and body creme! It's just perfect.

Middle Row

Kiko Intensely Lavish Lipstick - I already have one of these lipsticks in the shade 'Lusty Peony' and it has to be my favourite lipstick of all time! It's absolutely perfect in every way so I would love to invest in a second one. The shade above is called 'Luscious Red' and it looks just like the perfect red shade for Christmas.

Jo Malone French Lime Blossom Cologne - Oops, another Jo Malone item. I told you I'm obsessed. If you've never tried one of their fragrances then you are missing out! They are the best fragrances I've ever smelt. They are very natural and never smell artificial when you wear them. I would love for my next one to be French Lime Blossom so I can smell like an orchard of flowers.

Guerlain Meteorites - Ahhh yes. The legendary Guerlain pearls that are just the most beautiful things I've ever laid eyes on. Not only are they absolutely stunning, but I've heard amazing things about them and would love to try them out. Plus they come in this gorgeous pot that would definitely have a special place on my dresser.

Bottom Row

Soap & Glory Cleansing Milk - This one's probably the most useful thing on my wishlist, but I've been looking for a new cleanser for a while and this one looks like a great size! I love Soap & Glory as well.

Charlotte Tilbury 'Dolce Vita' Palette - Another popular item amongst bloggers, I've had my eye on the Dolce Vita palette from Charlotte Tilbury for a while now. It's just the perfect neutral palette and I think I would get so much use out of this.

Tarte Blush Set - Ever since I heard about Tarte I've wanted to try one of their Amazonian clay blushes. They look beautiful and this gift set comes with four different ones all in lovely shades! I'm a big blush fan so this set would be perfect for me.

This post is sponsored by L'Occitane but all opinions on gorgeous beauty products are my own.

Whozits and Whatsits - November

I honestly can't believe it's nearly December! Where on Earth has the time gone this year? So much has been going on lately that I think it's been making the month move at double speed, but it does mean there's a brand new set of lovely ladies for you to check out in my sidebar! Be sure to give each of them a read (you may just find your new favourite blogger!) and let me know if you'd like to be featured as one of my advertisers for December!

The lovely Annie actually goes to university with me, so I can confirm that she's one of the sweetest people imaginable, with a real love for literature, Wuthering Heights and cruelty free beauty. She is also the first person to use an animated button in the sidebar which I think is absolutely awesome! Her blog features not only the best of cruelty free beauty and skincare, but also some fantastic ways to help out wildlife. I absolutely adore her post about making hedgehog houses!

Aimee's blog is one you definitely have to check out, she really has something for everyone! Her lifestyle blog is super cute and she writes all about her goals, favourite books and favourites, to name a few. I absolutely love personal blogs for getting to know a bit more about a person and she really does that so well. Her writing style is lovely and chatty and I know she'll make you feel at home.

I currently have four spaces left for December advertisers, so if you're looking for somewhere to promote your blog this Christmas, be sure to drop me an email at hellomissjordan@hotmail.co.uk!

Give Me Burgundy

As much as I love Brighton, there really is something special about shooting in the streets of London! The other day I headed on up to see the lovely Saida who I haven't seen in far too long, and we had a little wander around the Trafalgar Square area to see if we could find a prime shooting location.

We were walking along the main road when we both turned and looked at the same time to see the most gorgeous little Notting Hill-esque street! It was like we stumbled upon the blogger shooting street jackpot and as it was a weekday it wasn't too busy either. It was, however, insanely windy, but I'm sure that gave a good 'wind-machine effect'.

Turning Envy into Motivation

I've always been the kind of person who puts herself down. It's my biggest flaw, in fact, and one of the things that I feel holds me back from being truly happy. In the two years I've been blogging, there is one thing that really haunts me and it's the ugliest thing: envy.

Strapless Stripes

I don't know about anyone else, but I've always had a hatred of the idea of strapless bras. The fact that there's usually no support, they're super uncomfortable and you spend half the day walking around in public performing an action that looks like you're trying to stop your entire chest from sliding off like melted ice cream.

When You Wishlist #3 - Autumn/Winter

Top Row

Monsoon Quartz Dress - This dress though. Anything that's head to toe sparkles and makes me look like a mermaid princess is 100% on my must have list. How perfect is it?!

Dog Treat Jar - The first doggy item on my list is this adorable treat jar from Next! Now that I have little Oscar in my life, doggy items have started to sneak their way onto my wishlists. You know I love him when I'd rather buy Oscar things than myself! But seriously this is perfect for holding all his treats and it would look lovely on the kitchen counter.

Velvet Dress - Another gorgeous dress is this Oasis number. Winter is the perfect time for velvet and I absolutely adore the vintage feel of this high necked piece. It's pretty much just gorgeous for every day and parties as well!

Middle Row

2016 Planner - Oh. My. God. This planner is perfect. Not only is it designed by one of my favourite brands, Rifle Paper Co, but it also is just plain beautiful. I need this planner in my life. NOW. GIVE IT TO ME.

Olympus Pen - Ahh, yes. The Olympus Pen aka the Blogger Camera. To be fair, although it's one of the most cliche blogger purchases of all time, there's no denying it is beautiful and the fact that it can connect to your phone means my Instagram would be on point all the time. #Goals

Peas in a Pod Decoration - If you read my post last year about my Christmas tree, you'll know that I make a habit of collecting Disney themed ornaments. Every year the Disney Store release the most gorgeous collection of ornaments and one of my favourites this year has to be the peas in a pod! They are absolutely adorable and the outside pea-pod is velvet!

Bottom Row

Dog Blanket - YAY more doggy things! This cute blanket is also from Next's Christmas pet collection (seriously they are killing it this year with adorable pet things) and it has 'Dog Tired' written on it! How flipping cute!

Copper Fox Ornaments - Ahh yes, because Jordan can't go at least one post without something copper popping up. This time, copper takes its form in two little foxes! I absolutely love these and I think they would make a lovely addition to an Autumnal room.

Cupcake Clutch - Let them me eat cake! Recently, Kate Spade collaborated with Magnolia Bakery to bring out an adorable line of sweet as sugar products! My favourite of the bunch has to be this clutch bag that's just the cutest thing I've ever seen! Also if you haven't been to Magnolia Bakery before I highly recommend it.

These Boots Were Made For Walking

Everyone, I think I may have found them. The boots. You know, the ones that you can see yourself wearing to death until the heels have to be replaced? These are those boots.

Be prepared everyone, I'm about to rant and rave to the point where it may drive you crazy, because, well, I'm obsessed. The absolutely lovely people at Jake Shoes (who I could kiss!) shipped these Ugg ankle boots to my door and I cannot describe how overwhelmingly grateful I am!

Kate Spade Goodies

After winning a £100 Kate Spade voucher in Thank Fifi's giveaway, I took to the website to try and decide on something I'd like to treat myself to. Having been the proud owner of my last purse for over four years, I really felt it was time for a change, and Kate Spade are renowned for their gorgeous accessories!

5 Minutes with Isaac Raymond

Photography by Malcolm Tam

If you happened to read my monster of a Brighton Fashion Week post, you'll remember that one of my favourite designers from the show was 17 year old Isaac Raymond, who wowed the crowd with his stunning creations in the Zeitgeist Catwalk Show! Well, I was lucky enough to have a quick chat with Isaac to find out all about his incredible work, his inspirations and what it's like to work in the fashion industry.

Brighton Fashion Week

A few weeks back I did something that made me feel like an actual fashion blogger - I went to a fashion week. Brighton Fashion Week, to be precise! I've heard about Brighton Fashion Week since I moved down to the seaside but I've never had the chance to attend until this year thanks to my friend and head of photography at BFW, Malcolm Tam. In classic Brighton fashion (pardon the pun), the theme was sustainable fashion and all of the designers in the show adhered to one or more of the ethical rules of fashion, making for some very creative and exciting pieces!
