Aqua Kyoto, Oxford Circus

I was recently invited down to Aqua Kyoto (ad pr invite) near Oxford Circus to try out some of their amazing Japanese food. Japanese is one of my favourite cuisines and I've been lucky enough to dine at some amazing restaurants in London, but have never visited this one before. I brought my dad along with me for a pre-theatre dinner and (spoiler alert), we were very impressed!

We started off with some salted edamame which were absolutely delicious.

The Last Days of Summer with GOBI

This post is sponsored by GOBI cashmere. All opinions are my own.

With Autumn just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about those transitional outfits! We haven’t had much summer here in the UK, but even so, it’s a good time to think about how to style summer clothes for the next couple of months. The perfect brand to create a transitional and sustainably sourced look is GOBI. GOBI cashmere specialises in affordable, high-quality garments that will delight you for many years. Cashmere is definitely a luxury purchase that is truly special and a wonderful thing to incorporate and style in multiple ways in your wardrobe. So, today I’m sharing four transitional outfits incorporating some wonderful cashmere pieces.

Live Like a Bridgerton at the Royal Crescent Hotel, Bath

A couple of weeks ago I went on a little staycation to the beautiful city of Bath to stay at one of my bucket list hotels - the Royal Crescent Hotel (ad press stay). At the moment they are holding a 'Live Like A Bridgerton' package in honour of the fact that Bridgerton was filmed mostly in the city of Bath! As huge fans of the show, Alex and I were so excited for the trip and to create lots of magical Bridgerton themed content.

Life's Too Short, Wear the Dress

I think one of my main goals with my Instagram, blog, TikTok, wherever you follow me now, has always been to encourage people to wear what they want. My ethos really is, "Life's too short! Wear the dress!" And this doesn't just apply to dresses or even princesscore in general, it's really anything that makes you happy.

In the Morning, I'm Making Waffles

Restrictions are slowly lifting here in England, which means I was finally able to visit my friend Alexandra's new flat in London! I got to stay there for a couple of days last weekend and to celebrate we decided to create a fabulous spread for breakfast. Alex has the most gorgeous selection of crockery which I am very envious of. While she has curated a matching set, I have a whole range of random pieces because I can never make up my mind! So it was nice to live vicariously through her.

A Magical Afternoon at Great Comp Gardens

A couple of months ago my friend Rebecca told me of a secret garden...well it's not so secret really!

Let Beautiful Begin in Belgravia

Now that locations are starting to open up in London, I took a little trip to beautiful Belgravia (press invite) to celebrate the reopening of the many stores and restaurants there. It's one of my favourite London neighbourhoods and was such a fun experience to stop by, so I thought I'd pop on here and show you what my day was like, as it was really so fun.

Designing My Dream Dress with Lunss Couture

A couple of months ago a company called Lunss Couture (ad pr) asked if I would like to design a dress with them...and of course I said yes! There has been a certain dress that I have had in my head for a while - the ultimate princess gown, but while I had found similar designs online, there hadn't been anywhere that had created the exact dress that I had in my imagination.

Raya and the Last Dragon Movie Review

A bit of a new one for the blog, but it's a series I've been wanting to start for a long time! You may or may not know that I am absolutely obsessed with films. I often do film reviews on my InstaStories, but I thought it would be a fun idea to start posting them on the blog too! It's a topic I'm really passionate about, and I'm usually lucky enough to be given early access to new films, so it just made sense that the reviews became a thing.

My Money Saving Tips

Since I was very young my parents have always taught me the value of money and I have always been extremely grateful that I was taught this. I remember even as a 6 year old, finding a five pound note on the floor when I was out with a friend and her mother and (after trying to hand it into security) the mother encouraged me to spend it on something I didn't really want. Afterwards, the useless item didn't even work and I was so angry that I had spent the money that I could have saved. I think this day stuck with me for the rest of my life because I have really always been a saver.

Am I Just Bothering People With My Texts?

Lockdown has made me realise just how few people I actually speak to. I don't know if this is normal or not, but during the day I either speak to my mum or my friend Alexandra...and that's it. The times where I extend beyond this tiny circle are usually just DMs with followers, and occasionally someone I know will reply to my story and I might engage with a short interaction with them. When I hear people talking about chatting to lots of people, I get a bit bewildered. Why is it that my social circle is so small now?

5 Things That 2020 Taught Me

Skirt ad pr from Chic Wish | Top ad pr from River Island | Tights from Calzedonia | Shoes from Dune London

For all it was worth, 2020 taught me a lot and in a funny way I feel like I learnt a lot more than I would have done if the year had been entirely normal. I know that if it had been, I would have done my standard travelling and travel content, would still be working in an office every day and most likely wouldn't have improved myself or my outlook on life.

Doubleshot, Covent Garden

Back before Christmas I was invited down to Doubleshot in Covent Garden (ad press invite) to try out some of their brunch! I am a huge brunch fan (who isn't?!) so was excited to see what they had on offer. I'd also seen their cute interior displays before and was intrigued to see what they were doing for Christmas.
