The Nutribuddy Challenge

Not going to lie, I've never exactly been the most health-conscious person in the world. My diet mainly consists of any chocolate I can get a hold of and then various breakfast cereals. So, when Nutribuddy got in contact and asked if I'd like to take their weight loss kit for a spin, I decided I would give it my best shot and see if it made a difference. I've never used any kind of weight loss supplements or powders before, so I was interested to see what it had in store for me!

I was sent a 14 day package* containing the Sculpting Whey powder in chocolate flavour, a shaker bottle, Hunger Fix tablets and Multivitamin tablets. Not going to lie, I was a bit like WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THIS when I opened it up for the first time, but I was definitely impressed by both the quality and packaging of the products. I also loved the fact that it comes with a little recipe book and a "Little Book of Weight Loss" to help guide you through how to use all the products.

I feel like I should also make a disclaimer that I am not trying to lose weight. I am very happy with my weight, but have been trying to eat more healthy recently as well as tone up!

The first thing I tried was the sculpting whey powder. I was a bit concerned that it would taste absolutely rank, but I found that it was actually pretty yummy, especially combined with almond milk! The recipe book shows you lots of ways you can use the powder in shakes and smoothies, but my favourite was when I combined it with fresh bananas and cocoa powder. It definitely made it feel a bit more like I was eating a meal.

The Multivitamins were pretty straight forward to use and I took one daily throughout the trial alongside my breakfast. I usually take vitamin supplements anyway so I didn't find this part too daunting!

The Hunger Fix tablets, however, kind of freaked me out a bit. The idea that something would stop me feeling hungry seemed a bit weird, but I decided to give them a go. They're made from a substance called Glucomannan, which is a natural fibre found in plants. And you know what, it worked! They have to be consumed with a full glass of water and I found that they were especially helpful at getting me through the day at work where I get ridiculously hungry.

But, of course, the real question is; did I see any difference? In terms of my weight loss, no I didn't. I didn't see any drastic results in 14 days but the honest truth is I think it's because I wasn't really attempting to lose weight. What I did find was that I felt a lot healthier and like I was consuming a lot less junk food thanks to the meal replacements and Hunger Fix tablets. While working on this diet alongside my daily squats I found that I also looked more toned!

Also, as we're leading up to Christmas you know that I've still been shoving that festive food in my mouth, which didn't really help. I think that Nutribuddy is fantastic for losing weight, especially once the Christmas holidays are over and everyone will be getting back to the gym. This is the perfect addition to your diet to help hit your goal in the new year! I'm definitely going to continue using the products then, especially in preparation for my next holiday where I'll be in a bikini.

Let me know in the comments if you've ever tried Nutribuddy and if you'd consider the products to help you get healthier!
