An Autumn Fairytale

Once upon a time, the woods called to me.
They asked me to get lost amongst their creaking arms
And gentle whispers of the breeze that
Grew ever chillier by the day.
Cloaked in scarlet and raven I felt drawn to
The golden decay of the changing seasons
Despite the grim darkness that consumed the mornings.

Roast, Borough Market

There's nothing I love more than a good date night in London Town, especially when it involves trying a new restaurant with a menu that looks positively drool-worthy (classy I know, but trust me, it's amazing). So, I was very eager to try Roast, a lovely little spot lurking above Borough Market that specialise in...you guessed it, roasts. All kinds of roasts, as it turns out.

Made for Adventure

Thermals - C/O Sno Queen

A couple of weeks ago, I received a little email from the lovely people at a wonderful brand called Sno Queen, asking if I would like to model for their new campaign. I immediately said yes, especially after browsing the website and discovering that they create quite possibly the most glam thermals I've ever seen.

The NYX Picks

I always feel a sense of nostalgia when I do a beauty post here on the blog, just because I don't really do them that often anymore and it was originally all I used to write about here! However, I was very excited to write this post as I've finally boarded the NYX hype train. I know right, finally!?

Falling Back in Love With Blogging

Dress - Lipsy | Shoes - C/O New Look

I suppose you could see this post as a little sequel to one of my recent posts about whether I can be a blogger and an Instagrammer, but either way, I felt like it deserved it's own post. Lately, I've felt a little out of touch with my blog. While Instagram feels like my thriving passion, blogging has felt almost like a chore and something that I have to do, rather than want to do.

Another Day of Sun

Top - Topshop | Shorts - PINK | Bag - C/O Zatchels | Shoes - C/O Rocket Dog

Sunny days call for sunny flowers, of course! I'm starting to realise as I'm writing this that the sunny British weather that we had last Bank Holiday Monday has turned rather quickly into a weird, rainy, muggy warmth that I am definitely not a fan of. That whole being too cold but still sweaty thing? No thank you!

Can I Be An Instagrammer AND A Blogger?

Trousers - River Island | Top - Miss Selfridge | Shoes - Dune | Watch - C/O Paul Hewitt | Necklace - C/O Paul Hewitt | Bracelet - C/O Paul Hewitt

There seems to be an opinion that's circulating the blogging world lately that someone who mainly posts to Instagram isn't really a blogger. I mean, someone has to have a blog to actually be a blogger right?

Breakfast at Betty's

After the deepest sleep ever, we awoke in our gorgeously comfy beds at Hotel Du Vin and thankfully were given a wonderful lie in. Breakfast wasn't booked until 10:30, which meant I could take my sweet time and stretch out in paradise.

Hello Harrogate

Jumper - Miss Selfridge (Similar here) | Trousers - River Island

A couple of weeks ago, I headed up to the gorgeous little town of Harrogate with the wonderful people at Slingsby Gin to experience not only their amazing gin but also the stunning scenery of this beautiful place. I've only ever been up North a handful of times, and Harrogate had always been on my list (especially for Betty's, but we'll get to that!) so I was extra excited to head on this press trip.

The Big Change - One Year On

Roughly a year ago, I wrote a blog post about a big change in my life. It was change I was anticipating for a long time, but even when it finally happened I felt a little lost. Everything was different. I knew in the long run that it would be better, but it was all so new to me.

Duck & Waffle, London

One place I've always wanted to visit, ever since hearing about it for the first time is the Duck and Waffle. As someone who is obsessed with London's glorious views, as well as anything breakfast related, I was so hyped when we managed to snag ourselves a reservation a couple of months in advance for my mama's birthday.

Mischief Managed

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

It's hard to describe how much the Harry Potter series means to me. It was one of the first book series that I read when I was a child after my mum bought it for me. At the time I was reluctant to read it. It looked super long and why would I be interested in a boy being the main character? Ew! But, one lazy day I picked Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone up off my bookshelf and started reading. And I never looked back.
