Look at this Stuff, Isn't it Neat? #1

I've wanted to do something of a weekly favourites post for quite a while now, especially when I find new videos or pictures that I love and want to share with people. I couldn't really think of a good name, but I definitely think this one hits the nail on the head. Look at this Stuff, Isn't it Neat? will be a little place I can share favourites, products, finds, blogs and other thingamabobs that I come across during my time.

Gadgets & Gizmos

Tangle Teezer Compact Styler - The one thing they don't tell you about living in Brighton is that you can never go into town without returning looking like you've just been sucked through a hoover pipe. And for some reason, I've never bought a brush for my bag, and then I complain when my hair looks a mess. So, I finally treat myself to my first Tangle Teezer. I chose the compact one as it has a nifty lid so you're not left with loads of hair in your bag. It does take a bit of getting used to, especially if you have thick hair like mine, but I've started to love using it. It's also very pretty.

The 'Into the Woods' Soundtrack - I've definitely got Sondheim on the brain due to Sweeney, but I'm in love with the Into the Woods soundtrack. I love the original soundtrack too but for some reason the film version's got me hooked. It wasn't my favourite film of all time, not going to lie, as I felt it lost the message and darkness of the musical, but the music is still lovely.

The Wonders of Disney Animation - I recently rediscovered an old favourite video of mine; a truly stunning compilation of all the original 50 Disney Animated Classics which makes me cry every time. Watch here.

Iced Ring Sprinkle Doughnuts - After going through a rough patch and consuming far too many doughnuts, I now love to treat myself to a pack every now and then from Asda.

The smell of Spring - There's a moment every year when you step outside, take a deep breath, and feel Spring. It's not something that gradually dawns on you, it's just there. And then you notice the birds singing and the crocuses poking their heads up from the grass. But there is nothing that brings me more joy than the smell of the oncoming season.
