Jo Malone - Peony & Blush Suede

On the 17th April, I fell in love with Jo Malone.

She is kind, soothing and not to mention smells pretty flipping good.

After purchasing one of their candles for my mama for Mother's Day, we found that they had popped a little card in the bag inviting us to enjoy a free arm and hand massage in store. When she came to visit our little cottage in Brighton, we decided this would be the perfect opportunity to indulge a little.

It was truly amazing. They assess the kind of fragrances that appeal to you, then almost create your own scent by combining certain hand washes, body lotions and sprays. As I like more floral fragrances, they mixed up a bit of Orange Blossom with Peony and Blush Suede. The two together smelled like what I think heaven must smell like, cross my heart.

Although we walked in not planning on buying anything, those sneaky staff managed to persuade me to walk away with one of their Peony and Blush Suede Body Cremes

I think the thing that really does it for me is the packaging. Everything is so intricately wrapped, stuffed with tissue paper and sprayed to smell gorgeous; it's just like opening a gift to yourself!

I felt very special walking down Brighton high street clutching this beautiful buy.

Peony and Blush Suede is a very floral scent, which is described as having "the juicy bite of red apple and the opulence of jasmine, rose and gillyflower." I can't describe this smell other than feeling like you're rolling around in a field of wild-flowers.

It was difficult to choose between the body creme and the cologne, but I eventually chose this, as I felt it is two products for the price of one really. I use the lotion on my neck and chest and it lasts all day, better than some of my perfumes. It will also be making its way into my holiday bag, as the heat brings out the smell even more.

This product cost £50.00, but for the hefty size I think it is definitely worth the money. I know it will be lasting me ages.

Now excuse me while I sniff the bag a little more...don't judge me.
