Through the Decades

Last night I attended a 'Through the Decades' themed fancy dress party in aid of fundraising for the incredible Sussex Show Choir. So I thought I would do a little outfit post for you.

After (not so) much deliberation, I decided to knock out a 1960's themed outfit. Mainly because of the sheer number of colourful flared dresses I own. This was the result.

As you may have noticed, I've got a bit of early-anticipation for warm weather, which had obviously warped my mind and made me think that wearing this at 10pm by the coast was a good idea.

Before you ask (as the bouncer on the door did), yes I was quite freezing, but I suppose that's the price you pay for wearing a summer dress in early February.

It was quite a simple costume, I'd say, but I wasn't really looking to go out and spend a shed load of money. Both my dress and shoes are from New Look, but are both out of stock, however the floral skater dress pattern is definitely coming back into season. Lipsy have some of my favourite designs.

I am seriously suffering from a case of OSD: Obsessive Summer Disorder.

  1. I wish I could wear dresses like that. Being a man is so limiting…
