5 Ways With Swimwear

When it comes to classic swimwear, there is nothing more versatile than a white bikini. It's absolutely timeless, goes with anything and most importantly, looks great with a tan. There are a million ways to style it, whether you be by the pool, beach, or grabbing a spot of lunch, so I thought I'd share my top five favourite ways of styling a staple piece of swimwear such as this gorgeous white bikini from La Redoute.

SlendertoxTea

I have to say, one of the main reasons I wanted to try the Slendertox TeaTox was out of curiosity. Having gained a fair bit of weight from simply not exercising and eating badly, I thought it would be a great idea to give my body the deep cleanse it needed, and when SlendertoxTea took part in the Blogger's Hub twitter party, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try it out!

My Beauty Style Icon: #HoFBeautyAmbassador

Ahhh I'm so excited to write this post! House of Fraser is a brand I've had the pleasure of working with before, so as soon as I discovered that they were on the hunt for a new Beauty Ambassador, I jumped at the chance to apply. As someone who discovered a love for beauty and makeup quite late in the day (when I was around 17) I think it's extremely important to allow people to discover their own style in their own time, and upon that discovery to allow people to express themselves through makeup. After all, a little bit of paint can make a huge difference emotionally as well as physically, and I know from experience that discovering my own style was something that made me extremely happy.

The Breakfast Club, Brighton

I've been pretty much waiting for the day The Breakfast Club would open in Brighton. Having heard so much about it from people who visit it in London I was desperate to go, but the lengthy journey and apparent queue to get in put me off a bit. But HUZZAH! The Breakfast Club people have answered my prayers and opened one right here in lovely Brighton, where, may I add, there is no queue *jumps for joy*.

Disney Vans

It's happened. There are Disney shoes. My mum asked 'What are you, five?', to which I respond, yes mother. Yes I am.

Harley Quinn Makeup

When it comes to university fancy dress, I learnt to not try too hard quite a while ago after going all out as Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's and having barely anybody recognise who I was. After this moment, I adopted 'Minimal Effort' as my new stance on these many events which are likely to pop up throughout the year.

The Tea Files: The Conrad Revisited

You may remember the other day when I visited The Conrad St James in London, and unfortunately the afternoon tea wasn't quite up to scratch. Well, I was absolutely delighted when Mario from The Conrad got in touch and offered a complimentary afternoon tea for two for me to try. I have to say, I really appreciate that they got in touch with me as they could have quite easily ignored my review and done nothing. This time I took my boyfriend back as an honorary Tea Files member to try out the treats with me.

JoJo's Gelato, Hove

Heads up, readers! I may have just founds my all time favourite place in Brighton...well, Hove, if you want to be specific. And yes, there are waffles and so much more.

I heard about JoJo's Gelato from one of my besties, and as soon as I saw a picture of the sundae she posted on instagram I knew I had to go there.

Located just on the Western Road in Hove, JoJo's is decked out like a modern diner, with giant fridges housing gelato and even cakes! It really is an oasis for those with a sweet-tooth.

The Tea Files - The Conrad

Due to my mama and I's frequent visits for afternoon tea, I have decided to make this into its own little segment on the blog, furthermore known as 'The Tea Files'. If you didn't know already, my mama and I visit all around the country trying all of the afternoon teas in order to find the very best. The winner will ultimately be where I have my hen party whenever I get married!

This time, my mama booked us in for Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea at The Conrad St. James, which I was extremely excited about considering Alice in Wonderland is one of my all time favourite books.

Why I don't drink, and that's okay.

These are three words that, as a university student and general member of the community of young adults, often place me in situation where I end up being asked a million questions. These have included, but are not limited to,

"Why not?"

"Well, have you tried <insert beverage here>?"

"Is it a religious thing, or?"

"Don't you get bored?"

"Do you hate people who drink?"

Denman's Tangle Tamer Ultra

One of the only downsides to having the most hair ever is the knots. I've had  the same hairbrush for the last three years or so and it's an old Primark one which peels and leaves black stuff all over the floor. As you can imagine, it's pretty rubbish. So when Denman offered to send me one of their new Tangle Tamer Ultra Hairbrushes* I absolutely jumped at the chance to treat my hair. Especially because THEY DO IT IN PINK YAY.
