A Magical Afternoon at Great Comp Gardens

A couple of months ago my friend Rebecca told me of a secret garden...well it's not so secret really!

Great Comp Gardens just so happens to be very close to me, but for some reason I had never heard of it in all the time I've lived here! It's a beautiful little spot set back near Sevenoaks, with a gorgeous house, expansive gardens and even an enchanted forest.

My favourite part has to be the ruins and gorgeous temple that is tucked away at the back of the woods. However, if I'm honest I was really spoilt for choice with the number of dreamy locations that existed here. I ended up with so many photos that I wished I had brought a second outfit!

The real star of the show was this dress, of course. It was kindly gifted to me by New York Dress and the designer is Andrea Leo Couture. It's a real beauty - a midi length so a bit more wearable than my other gowns - but covered in sparkling constellation details. It also twirls like an absolute dream!

Great Comp Gardens are open now for visitors. Tickets can be purchased at the door, there's no need to book in advance!

I'd love if you had any more suggestions of lovely gardens to visit around Kent and London! x
