Brighton My Day

Top - C/O New Look | Skirt - C/O New Look | Wedges - C/O New Look | Earrings - C/O New Look

Going back to Brighton always feels a bit like going home. I haven't lived there for over a year now, but returning last weekend definitely gave me a hard case of the feels. It also helped that we had bright, glorious British sunshine to welcome us.

I thought it was the perfect day to act like an absolute tourist and do all the stereotypical Brighton things like wander around the pier, drink oversized milkshakes and fend off chip-thieving seagulls. Of course, I managed to get a few snaps of my seriously summery New Look outfit while I was at it.

If you hadn't guessed yet I've been a bit obsessed with oversized sleeves this summer and I absolutely flipping love this top! It, and the whole of this outfit, gives me some serious Esmerelda vibes and I am totally cool with that. I also fell in love with this skirt the moment I laid eyes on it. It really reminds me of this satin Chinese dress I was given as a child. Paired up with some rose gold shoes (um yes!) and earrings I felt like a proper princess out for the day.

I also feel like this is the best time to tell you about the flipping amazing competition that New Look are running over on their website to win tickets to Fresh Island Festival in Croatia! Sounds like a pretty epic prize if I'm honest, so make sure you head over and enter!
