If you didn't know already, I kind of have a thing about being a princess. My unrealistic dreams of living in a castle and wearing ballgowns all day is usually only expressed through my realistic obsession with tulle. So, when this for no better word stunning dress from the lovely people at Jones & Jones arrived on my doorstep, I was absolutely over the moon.
Straight from their new Autumn/Winter collection, this beautiful black and silver ballgown is just the perfect princess dress. I knew almost immediately that the only place we could shoot this outfit post would be somewhere truly magical and I took a bit of inspiration from one of my favourite musicals Into the Woods along the way.
Not only is the full, tulle skirt absolutely beautiful, floaty and utterly mystical, but the top is truly special. Made from translucent mesh and overlayed with a delicate, silver-floral pattern, it feels like something a moon princess would wear (points for every time I say the word 'princess' in this post).
