After winning a £100 Kate Spade voucher in Thank Fifi's giveaway, I took to the website to try and decide on something I'd like to treat myself to. Having been the proud owner of my last purse for over four years, I really felt it was time for a change, and Kate Spade are renowned for their gorgeous accessories!
Anyone who follows me on twitter will know it took me forever to decide on what colour to get, until I finally decided on the Cedar Street Stacy purse in 'Train Car Red'. To make the order up to £100, I also ordered a pair of socks (I know, I'm craaazy!) which I thought were pretty adorable!
The socks are super cute, polka dotted and have 'kick up your heels' written in gold on the bottom. I have to be completely honest though, £10 for a pair of socks is a lot of money and I probably wouldn't have bought them if I didn't have to make up the money. The socks themselves are also pretty poor quality considering their price, with super thin material that easily catches and can cause ladders. Although they'll definitely be making appearances in my future flatlays and potential OOTDs, they aren't so practical for everyday wear!
On the other hand, I absolutely adore the purse! It's gorgeous quality and the perfect size for many handbags. The hardware is 14 carat plated and there's enough slots for all of my cards! My only complaint is that the colour isn't as it's pictured on the website. Online it looks more like a deep red colour but when it arrived it's definitely burgundy. This was a slight disappointment but as I won it I can't complain too much! It's the perfect addition to my handbag and I do love it! The colour is not only perfect for Autumn/Winter but all year round too!
