Falling Back in Love With Blogging

Dress - Lipsy | Shoes - C/O New Look

I suppose you could see this post as a little sequel to one of my recent posts about whether I can be a blogger and an Instagrammer, but either way, I felt like it deserved it's own post. Lately, I've felt a little out of touch with my blog. While Instagram feels like my thriving passion, blogging has felt almost like a chore and something that I have to do, rather than want to do.

And, as blogging has been a passion of mine for over three and a half years now (what?!), I want to get my mojo back. I want to get excited about posting new content, not dread it. It's hard, no doubt, when it feels like less and less people are engaging with blog content nowadays and it's starting to seem almost pointless to post on here when hardly anyone is going to read it.

There's also that age old problem of comparison. I know, I know, everyone's talking about it and how you shouldn't compare yourself to others, but sometimes it's tough, you know? Sometimes I look at other people's incredible blogs and wonder why I even bother.

But I need to remember why I started this little corner of the internet. I started because I wanted somewhere to express my passions and loves, where I could showcase my creativity and people could enjoy it.

So, I'm writing this blog post as a kind of self-motivating technique, to give myself that kick up the backside I need to get back on Hello Miss Jordan and start posting some awesome content again. It might take a little bit of time, or even a short break, but I'm determined to change it around.

I'd love to know if any of you guys have any tips for getting your blogging mojo back! It'd also be amazing if you let me know what kind of content you'd like to see on Hello Miss Jordan; I'll definitely be taking note! x
