Follow Your Own Road

I've made the habit of taking advantage of every single sunny day as though it may well be my last. They're also a little bit of a luxury when I'm not working.

After recently discovering my love of dungarees, I fell head over heels for a little number that actually quite reminds me of dungarees. So, it makes perfect sense that I had to buy it, right?

This light, adorable playsuit is perfect for making errands around sunny Brighton, and has actually persuaded me to get back into flat shoes.

Yes, my bra strap is showing, but it's Victoria's Secret so I'm sure it just wants a bit of attention.

To cheer up the grey, blue and white tones, I added a splash of pink and gold.

My clips are from Primark while my pink apple earrings are old, but still adorable.

Primark pumps and t-shirt.

My playsuit is from where I seem to be getting all my clothes from lately...did you guess right?

It's nice to dress up and make an effort on my days off, having been spending so much time at work in an apron and chocolate covered t-shirt.

This natural, summery makeup is basically what I wear nearly every day now, although sometimes I spruce it up with eyeliner and add a few darker colours into the shadow.

Here is a list of products I used to get the pinkish hue to match my apples (sounds cheeky!).

  • Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
  • Collection Sheer Loose Powder
  • Benefit Dandelion & Gimme Fever Cheek Powders
  • Benefit Browzings
  • Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Palette - first, third and fourth shades.
  • Loreal Collection Privee in 'Eva'
  • Model Co Lip Gloss in 'Fairy Floss'
  • Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara

I'm praying for this beautiful sunshine to last until my next day off. And I hope that, wherever you may be in the world, that the sun is shining for you too! It just makes everything in life seem a little brighter.
